1. Cans & Bottles

Cans

Empty beverage and food cans, cookie and sweets tins, pet food cans (aluminum and steel cans)

Instructions

  • Please empty and wash the cans.
  • Cans should be free of oil/grease.
  • Flatten aluminum cans.
    Tops/lids are also recyclable

allowPlace in the YELLOW container at neighbor collection site.

Please take the cans out of bags before placing in the container.

 Bottles

Empty beverage and food bottles, medication bottles, nutrient supplement bottles (glass)


Instructions

  • Please empty and wash the bottles.
  • Bottles should be free of oil/grease.
  • Remove caps/lids/tops/stoppers; if an inset stopper cannot be removed, the bottle can still be put in recycling.

Note: Sorting of "Removed" Caps/Lids/Tops/Stoppers

>Plastic items bearing the mark ( plamark )→"Plastic Packaging."

>Plastic items not bearing that mark→"Combustible Waste."

>Metal caps/lids/stoppers→"Non-Combustible Waste."

allowPlace in the BLUE container at neighbor collection site.
Please place bottles on their sides.

Special Request

Please return reusable bottles such as beer and large liquor bottles to their place of purchase whenever possible.
