Hokkedo Buddha Hall Site (Tombs of Minamoto no Yoritomo and Hojo Yoshitoki)
The Hokkedo Buddha Hall was held for Yoritomo, the founder of Kamakura's Shogunate, and Yoshitoki, who laid the cornerstone for the development of the Samurai government. On the site of Yoritomo's Hokkedo Buddha Hall is a stone pagoda which holds Yoritomo's tomb and Yoshitoki's remains have been confirmed at the excavation findings.
